| Article 1 - Definitions and General Notifications |
The different notices referenced in the below conditions can be referenced to the “Recommendation de la Commmission des Clauses Abusive” and from common law regarding rental agreements for “louage régis,” in Tunisian law, in Articles 726 and 727 of “Code des obligations et des contrats”
Le Rental Agreement is intuitif personae and cannot be transferred to another party.
""We", "the lessor" designates the Avantgarde Company.
"The vehicle" designates a particular vehicle or a utility vehicle rented to you for the agreed duration of the Rental Agreement.
"Damages" are damage to the vehicle, including breaking of glass, the side mirrors, and the headlights.
“Theft” constitutes theft of the vehicle, vandalism, theft of accessories, or attempts to steal the vehicle.
"Tunisia" designates the country in which the car may be driven. Driving outside of Tunisia is forbidden except with the expressed authorization of Avantgarde. |
| Article 2 - Rental Conditions |
You must provide us, with proof, all of the necessary information in order to make a rental agreement, notably: piece of identity (passport); your home and email addresses; a fixed (land) telephone number; information regarding your driver’s license, including the number, date of issuance and expiration, as well place of issuance; method of payment.
No reservation will be made if this information is not communicated to Avantgarde.
Prior to the release of the vehicle, you will be required to produce a second form of identification, such as an energy or telephone—fixed or land lines only—bill of at least three months confirming your name and address which you registered. In addition, your credit card must have the same number as the one provided in the registration in order to cover in advance all supplemental charges which were not included in the reservation. These charges will automatically be deducted upon the return of the vehicle conforming to the provisions laid out in article 5.
